Here are the steps to follow if a block page is displayed after you have
received an approval email in response to a request for access:
-
First check whether you have been redirected to a new page/URL which is
now being blocked. You can double-check this by comparing the URL you see
on the block page to the URL received in the approval email.
If the block page is for a new URL, use the button to
request access to it.
-
If it is for the same URL, clear the cache using the
Techloq Chrome extension.
The page will reload and the most recent changes made to your filtering
settings will be applied.
If you don’t have the Techloq icon in the top right corner of your
browser, (as shown above), click
here for information on how to install and enable the extension on your
device.
-
If you are still receiving a block page after following the steps above,
try this website in an incognito browser:
- Open an incognito page by pressing: Ctrl + Shift + ‘N’.
-
Load the website in the incognito browser.
If you can access the page in this browser the website is fully allowed in
your filter settings. Come back to your regular browser and repeat the
step of clearing the cache. You can also try refreshing the page or
searching it in a new tab.
Still getting a block page?
