Installing Windows Filter


Before Installing the filter on a device, you will need to have an available subscription in your account.

If you have an available subscription ready for download:

  • Download the Techloq Windows installer here.
  • Locate the installer in your Downloads folder and double-click to run it.
  • Read through the terms and conditions and 'accept' them to proceed.
  • You will be taken through several steps of installation and then will be asked for your registration key. If you have just purchased a new subscription, you will have received an email with the registration key.

    You can always locate a registration key in your account. Click here to access your account. Select the relevant subscription and then ‘view subscription details’. Locate your key under ‘available registration keys’ - the 12-digit code can be copied and pasted directly into the installer.

  • Click ‘next’ to complete the installation.


Don't have an available subscription/registration key: A registration key represents a subscription in your account. If you do not have an available registration key, a new subscription needs to be purchased before you can continue with the installation. Trying to reinstall or transfer your filter? Your registration key may be tied up in the previous installation of your filter. Click here to find out how to proceed.

MITM error: If at any stage you get an error ‘MITM has been detected’, it means your antivirus is picking up on the installation. Simply click ‘retry’ to continue with the installation.

Once the filter has been successfully installed, the filter settings on the device will be those of the default user in your account. If you would like to have different settings applied to this device, click here to find out more about settings customization.
