A Techloq ‘user’ is essentially a profile of filter settings in your account. You can have the same user/profile applied to all the devices under your account, or alternatively, you can create additional users and have them applied to different devices or even to specific Windows users. A free user is added to your account with each additional filtering plan subscription that is purchased. You also have the option to add extra users to your account for a minimal additional charge. The Customization form:
You can personalize your filter settings on a specific user by filling out the customization form. The form will take you through the different areas of the filter settings and allow you to choose which settings you wish to have applied to your account.
Important to note: Although individual changes can be made to your account later on, the form can only be filled out once for each user so be sure to choose carefully.
Identify your account:
On the first page of the form, fill out your main account details.
On page 2, you can select either of the options to see a brief description of that option.

Please note: The filtering scheme you choose will be applied across your entire account. Although devices under the same account can have different settings, they cannot have different schemes.
User Configuration:
Customizing your account for the first time?
If this is the first time you are customizing a user in your account, select the option of ‘default user’. This refers to the main user/profile of filter settings which is on your account.
To customize a user available in your account:
If you are looking to customize a user which is available in your account, select ‘other user’ and then ‘create new’. A field will pop up where you can fill out the details you wish to have on the user (see below).
User ‘password’ will be relevant if you would like to be able to log in to this user from a device which is linked with a different user. Click here to find out more about the users in your account.
Click next and continue through the process of customizing the settings which will be applied to your selected user.
Additional Notes: At the end of the form is a blank field for your use. Include over here:
- If you would like this user to be applied to a specific device.
- If you would like the user to be applied to specific Windows users. Please specify the names of the Windows users as they are displayed on the device.
- Any other information that you think may be relevant for the setup of your new user.
In all cases, if you have more than one device on your account, please specify the device’s ID so that we can identify which device you would like these settings applied to.
